Canada & Beyond: Political & Physical Regions of Canada is designed and written for educators to meet the expectations of the Ontario social studies curriculum.  Students will learn, explore, discover, analyze, and communicate findings for a variety of topics.  Building upon prior knowledge of regions, students will study Canada’s political regions, including the provinces and territories, and physical regions such as the country’s landform, vegetation, and climatic regions. Students will use the inquiry process to explore and investigate issues related to the challenges surrounding balancing human needs and environmental stewardship.
