Canada & Beyond: Early Societies is designed and written for educators to meet the expectations of the  Ontario social studies curriculum.  Students will learn, explore, discover, analyze, and communicate findings for a variety of topics.  They will learn about social organization, daily life, and relationships with the environment for a number of early societies. They will investigate the interrelationship between daily life and the environment in these societies and will compare aspects of life in these societies with their own lives. Students will use the inquiry process to explore and conduct their investigations.
