Canada & Beyond: The Role of Government & Responsible Citizenship is designed and written for educators to meet the expectations of the revised Ontario social studies curriculum.  Students will learn, explore, discover, analyze, and communicate findings for a variety of topics. They will explore the responsibilities of Canadian citizens and understand the three levels of government and the responsibilities of each. Students will investigate a social and/or environmental issue from a number of perspectives and they will develop plans of action to address the challenge. Students will continue to hone their inquiry skills when exploring and conducting their investigations.
