NEW Developing Motor Skills - $195 (includes resource book)

Grades: SK - Grade 2

Dates: Mondays, starting Apr. 3 (10 weeks), 4:30 - 5:15 pm no classes on Victoria  Day, May 22

 

This NEW program will include a variety of fun and motivating fine-motor based activities (e.g., cutting, beading, correct

 letter and number formation, lacing and building) designed to develop strength and dexterity of the hands, as well as

improve hand-eye coordination.   Program fee includes a Handwriting Without Tears workbook to be used during class

and at home for additional practice.

 

Kindergarten Basics - $180

Dates: Saturdays, starting Apr. 8 (10 weeks), 9:00 - 9:45 am

 

We welcome JK & SK students to our classroom for this 8 week session.  Classes are spent developing early literacy (e.g.,

letter recognition, letter sounds, early sight words, handwriting, etc.), and numeracy skills (e.g., number recognition,

counting, simple operations, patterning, number composition, etc.) in a fun, engaging, and meaningful way.

 

Early Reading Skills Part 1 - $180

Grades: SK - Grade 2

Dates: Mondays, starting Apr. 3 16 (10 weeks), 5:30 - 6:30 pm no classes on Victoria Day, May 22

Thursdays, starting Apr. 6 (10 weeks), 4:30 - 5:30 pm

Saturdays, starting Apr. 8 (10 weeks) 10:00 - 11:00 am

 

Join us for this 8 week session and build the essential, foundational skills needed to grow into a confident and  successful reader. Sessions will focus on early components of literacy including: letters and sounds identification, early sight words, simple blends and word families. Students will enjoy games, hands-on activities and reading practice to increase fluency. Watch your child’s reading take off!

 

Early Reading Skills Part 2 - $180

Grades: 1 - 3

Dates: Mondays, starting Apr. 3 (10 weeks), 6:30 - 7:30 pm no classes on Victoria  Day, May 22

Saturdays, starting Apr. 8 (10 weeks), 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

 

Join us for this 8 week session and continue to build the essential, foundational skills needed to increase fluency and

become successful reader. Sessions will focus on: more complex word families, sight word recognition, and reading

passages to increase fluency. Students will enjoy games, hands-on activities and reading practice to increase fluency.

Math Foundations - Part 1 - $180

Grades: SK - 2

Dates: Thursdays, starting Apr. 6 (10 weeks), 5:45 - 6:45 pm

 

Back by popular demand! Math Foundations Part 1 focuses on the basic numeracy skills and mental math strategies

needed to become proficient in mathematics. Sessions are filled with engaging activities, games and guided practice to increase your child’s speed, accuracy and confidence.

 

Masters of Multiplication - $180

Grades: 3+

Dates: Thursdays, starting Apr. 6 (10 weeks), 6:45 pm - 7:45 pm

 

Join us for an 8-week session to master the multiplication facts up to the ten times tables. Classes are filled with fun and engaging ways to commit the facts to memory.

 

French Basics - $190

Grades: JK - SK

Dates: Wednesdays, starting Apr. 5 (10 weeks), 4:30 pm - 5:15 pm

 

A great way to introduce or maintain spoken French language. Classes are filled with games, songs and activities to make language learning memorable and fun! Taught by a Halton French immersion teacher.

 

French Immersion Boost - $190

Grades: 1 - 3

Dates: Wednesdays, starting Apr. 5 (10 weeks), 5:15 - 6:15 pm

 

This series will provide students with practice in vocabulary development, grammar and conversational French language. Taught by a Halton French immersion teacher.

 

French Foundations - $190

Grades: 4+

Dates: Wednesdays, starting Apr. 5 (10 weeks), 6:15 - 7:15 pm

 

Core French students are invited to join us for the 8 week series. Taught by a Halton French immersion teacher, classes will provide students with practice in vocabulary development, grammar and conversational language.
